Aliasgar Tambawala - Investment Manager
Aliasgar Tambawala has joined Mashreq in February 2007 as an Associate. He is primarily looking at emerging market high yield fixed income securities. Performing credit & fundamental analysis on companies either issuing new debt or companies that already have fixed income securities outstanding. In addition responsibilities including tracking fixed income markets, interest rates movements, economic indicators, and overall market conditions.
Ali has over 4 years of experience in the financial industry as a research analyst. Prior to joining Mashreq, Aliasgar has worked as a research analyst in Enam Securties, Morgan Stanley Retail Services & IL&FS Investsmart Ltd., in India. He has also worked with Morgan Stanley in US as a research assistant.
Ali holds a BSc in Business Administration from the Marquette University, Milwaukee, US in 1998, and a Master of Science in Applied Economics with emphasis in Financial Economics in 2001.
