Fatima Sayani - Associate, Investments
Joining Mashreq in January 2008 as an Associate in the Asset Management division, Fatima Sayani has been supporting the investment team in managing the equity funds for the MENA region. Primarily being responsible for investment screening, company analysis and financial modeling for potential investments, she is also actively involved in portfolio and peer analysis of the existing funds. Fatima has also been responsibly handling the tracking of the MENA equities markets, economic indicators and overall market conditions.
Bringing with her, rich experience in managing high net worth equity portfolios, starting as dealer and moving on to be the Branch Manager at Kotak Securities, Mumbai, India, Fatima joined HSBC Private Bank at DIFC, Dubai. Being a qualified MBA in Finance from Mumbai University and a topper in her college, she has always been highly inclined in acquiring international certifications. Already an Associate Financial Planner (CFP – Investments, Retirement Planning and Risk Management), Fatima is currently pursuing her CFA level 1 examination.
