Junaid Farooq - Portfolio Manager, Asset Management
Junaid Farooq joined mashreq in 2005. He is involved in portfolio management for the Makaseb Arab Tigers Fund - an equities fund with focus on Middle Eastern equities and a number of discretionary accounts.
Prior to joining mashreq, Junaid worked as an investment banker at Global Securities Pakistan Limited where he was involved in a number of transactions relating to banking, telecommunications and independent power projects. He was a member of the team engaged in the privatization of Pakistan Telecommunications Company Limited and Habib Bank Limited. Junaid has extensive experience in financial analysis, financial modeling and valuation.
Junaid earned a Masters in Business Administration from the Institute of Business Administration, Karachi and is a CFA charter holder.
